Sandy is a lifelong introvert and believes this helps her be a truly effective therapist. In her twenties she opened a small chain of resale clothing stores in Southern California. Even though the business was successful it didn't take long to realize this business was not a good fit for her as an introvert.
After receiving feedback from her customers that she was supportive and a great listener she changed careers to counseling. Sandy has a M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a MSW. She is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a LMSW. She works in private practice as a coach and therapist with 24 years of experience, 5 years in private practice. She is also certified as an Equine Assisted Learning coach and facilitator.
In her free time Sandy is happiest being in nature, preferably with horses or on a lake kayaking. She is a lifelong learner and loves to travel.
